Consulted for a University of Pennsylvania startup in designing a mechanism that would automatically control light switches. This design reduced the need for sensor or circuit modification by featuring a clip-on design for existing light switch panels. As mechanical lead, provided a design featuring a helix mechanism that reduced input force, increasing existing battery capacity projections by 6x the original design.
